Program operations and school implementation

Roles and dates

Program Operations Lead, November 2016 to July 2022; Community Engagement and Program Access Lead, July 2022 to May 2025.

Scope

Built and managed youth education and engagement programming across two public-school sites; coordinated schedules, space, staff, mentors, volunteers, outreach, participation monitoring, and cross-team delivery.

Operational clarity, steady communication, stakeholder alignment, and practical adjustments informed by attendance, participation, risk indicators, and delivery feedback.

Role and dates

Founder and Curriculum and Program Development Consultant, August 2016 to January 2026, alongside program-operations responsibilities.

Curricula created

Emotional Combat, an emotional-regulation curriculum; RISE, a 17-session youth enrichment and social-emotional learning program for middle- and high-school students; and The Circle Curriculum, a 12-week restorative-practice program for high-school students meeting five days per week.

Mediation and restorative practice

Listening for the facts and the meaning underneath them.

Roles and dates

Restorative Justice Intern, September to December 2025; Mediation Intern, January to May 2026.

Scope

Co-led restorative circles, developed circle-keeper learning materials, and supported supervised mediation through intake, case coordination, joint sessions, and private sessions.

Applied model

George documented and applies dual listening: tracking the factual record with one ear while listening for emotion, trust, identity, and unmet needs with the other.
